Golf Swing Tips
Golf swing tips are an area where
there seems to be no shortage of experts. How many times have you played golf and had people in your foursome offering up tips that sound like
"do this", or "be sure you don't do that"? It usually happens in every round. And while everyone means well and they only want to help, in most
cases these tips don't really help you improve your golf swing. And in some cases can even start arguments, but that's a different story.
The Number One Golf Swing Tip
The most important swing tip that you'll need to know is a simple one. Work towards building a strong, fundamentally solid, repetitive golf
swing. That should be your ultimate goal. Once you build a repeating golf swing you will notice your scores dropping and your playing partners
asking YOU for tips.
Building a solid golf swing is not as difficult as it may seem. Here are a few key points to keep in mind.
1. Start your backswing with a one piece takeaway. Picture in your mind your stance with the club out in front of you. It looks like a
triangle doesn't it? Your chest is the center of the triangle. Start your backswing by bringing the club back in one piece until your wrists are
even with ears. 75% of your weight will be on your right foot and your left knee will be bent.
2. As you are now at the top of your backswing you want to let your "power muscles" start your downswing. What I mean by that is to lead with
your hips and your torso. Your arms and hands will follow. It is your torso that will produce the power, not your hands and arms.
3. On the downswing you will transfer your weight from your right side to the left. Swing through the ball and finish with a high follow
through and face the target.
These basic golf swing tips are really all that is necessary to build a lifetime repetitive swing. To help you learn may require a few golf
lessons or buying a golf swing video that gives you training in this area. But once you build your swing you'll find golf to be more enjoyable
than ever.
Tips For Golf Tip #1
Work on developing a fundamentally solid, repetitive golf swing. Regardless of whether you are a beginning
golfer or accomplished pro, work on having a sound golf swing until it becomes second nature to you. It will help you play better golf as
well as enjoy the game so much more.
Tips For Golf Tips #2
Practice with a purpose. Whenever you go to the driving range always go to practice a specific part of
your golf game. Don't just hit balls all over the place like so many golfers do. Have a purpose in mind and you'll quickly begin improving
your golf game.
Tips For Golf Tips #3
Build up your strength and flexibility to gain more distance. The key to hitting the ball farther isn't
with the latest $400 driver from Callaway. It is about developing more strength and flexibility, especially in your golf specific muscles.
It's a sure way to gain 20-30 yards off the tee.
